message to your elder
Altar
An altar of lived experience, sickness, and disability solidarity honoring the multitudes of emotions and experiences of our bodyminds. We made an altar to remember all that comes before us, paying homage to our crip ancestors. By remembering, an altar can be seen as a form of archive, an archive of feeling.
We invite you to share an object of significance to your experience of sickness/disability, a visual of a crip elder/family member, or a talisman of spiritual presence to our altar.
